Kia ora, my name is Gareth. I’ve been working as a contract artist in Aotearoa for over twenty years and tattooing professionally for the last sixteen. Originally from Dunedin Ōtepoti, I have worked up and down the country and, for the last nine years, have been based in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau and am currently working from the iconic Two Hands Tattoo in Ponsonby.

I specialise in fine line, black & grey, Celtic tattooing and western traditional and am happy doing most styles. I offer both large and small-scale custom work, as well as having a large collection of flash and pre-drawn designs to choose from.

I am also available for art-based commissions and design projects, and I have a range of clothing, prints and original artworks available for purchase.

I pride myself on providing a professional, collaborative service with an emphasis on bespoke human-made art. I don’t use ai in any step of my design process and draw and paint everything by hand. Additionally, the prints and clothing I sell are made by locally owned small businesses.
